Parents Convicted of Killing Three-Month-Old Son in Wirral Tragedy

Klevi Pirjani and Nivalda Santos Pirjani were convicted of the murder of their three-month-old son, Miguel, who died after suffering critical injuries in their home in Seacombe.

On 24 November 2024, Miguel Pirjani was discovered unresponsive at his family home on Percy Road in Seacombe and later succumbed to his injuries five days later.
The parents were found guilty at the Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, Liverpool of murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and causing grievous bodily harm.
Medical examinations revealed Miguel had suffered significant injuries including bleeding on the brain, a skull fracture, and a bone fracture in his tibia, leading to a cardiac arrest.
