Ennis

Ennis (Irish: Inis [ˈɪnʲɪʃ], meaning 'island' or 'river meadow') is the county town of County Clare, in the mid-west of Ireland. The town lies on the River Fergus, north of where the river widens and enters the Shannon Estuary.
