Amygdala

The amygdala (; pl.: amygdalae or amygdalas; also corpus amygdaloideum; Latin from Greek, ἀμυγδάλη, amygdalē, 'almond', 'tonsil') is a paired nuclear complex present in the cerebral hemispheres of vertebrates. It is considered part of the limbic system.
